About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with private accounting experience to oversee and manage financial operations across multiple U.S.-based companies. These include a credit card merchant services company, POS system provider, a bakery business, a hot sauce brand, and several restaurants.
You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, handling accounts payable/receivable, and ensuring smooth financial operations across all companies.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Accounting
Manage daily financial transactions across multiple businesses.
Enter and reconcile data in Zoho and QuickBooks.
Process vendor bills, customer invoices, and payments promptly.
Oversee accounts receivable/payable, ensuring timely collections and disbursements.
Maintain proper financial documentation and records.
Financial Management
Prepare monthly financial reports and cash flow statements.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and expense management.
Track and oversee multiple company financial data in an organized manner.
Ensure tax and compliance readiness (coordination with U.S. accountants).
Operations Support
Work closely with U.S. teams on credit card processing, POS accounts, bakery orders, hot sauce sales, and restaurant operations.
Monitor financial health of each business unit and provide recommendations.
Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal managers to resolve billing or payment issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3+ years of accounting experience (private or corporate).
Proficiency in Zoho Books and QuickBooks Online is a must.
Strong knowledge of U.S. accounting standards and best practices.
Excellent English communication skills (both written and spoken).
Ability to work independently, manage multiple companies’ accounts, and meet deadlines.
Must be able to work U.S. business hours.
Preferred Skills
Experience handling multi-company financials.
Familiarity with restaurant or food business accounting.
Knowledge of POS systems, merchant services, or retail operations is a plus.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
