Digital Marketing VA

About us:

Marketing for Trades is a marketing agency that helps trades businesses (such as electricians, plumbers, carpenters, builders, and other skilled trades) grow online through smart digital marketing, websites, and local SEO. We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support our client delivery and admin processes.

Responsibilities:

* Support with new client website setup and content upload
* Assist in setting up and verifying Google Business Profiles (GBP)
* Collect and organize weekly Google reviews for clients
* Update client Google Business Profiles with posts, photos, and business updates
* Add new client projects (photos, case studies, testimonials) to websites
* Add new Service Pages to websites
* Add new Location Pages to websites
* Communicate with clients via WhatsApp to: Request project photos, Encourage customers to leave reviews, Share reminders and light client support
* Resubmit XML sitemaps to Google Search Console
* Pull analytics and reporting for clients (Google Analytics / GBP insights / Website performance)
* Update plugins across all client websites
* Assist with monthly invoicing and admin support

Requirements:

* Based in the Philippines (excellent written English required)
* Experience with Google Business Profile, Google Analytics, and basic SEO tasks
* Familiarity with WordPress or similar website platforms (adding projects, service pages, location pages, updating plugins, content, images)

Strong organisational and admin skills:

* Detail-oriented and able to follow SOPs
* Reliable internet connection and ability to work during Australian business hours (or with some overlap)

Nice to Have (Not Required):

* Experience working with marketing agencies
* Knowledge of tools like Canva, project management systems (ClickUp, Trello, or Asana), and invoicing platforms
* Understanding of local SEO strategies
