JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a dedicated SEO & Backlink Expert to support our agency’s SEO campaigns across multiple local business clients. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to track every backlink and task inside ClickUp.

You will:
• Research competitor backlink profiles and build high-quality, white-hat backlinks.
• Find and secure guest posting opportunities that follow Google’s guidelines.
• Manage and optimize BrightLocal campaigns for local SEO.
Email directory sites and customers to confirm details (e.g., phone numbers) and verify listings.
• Create and manage local directory listings and citations.
• Conduct keyword research using Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, or Semrush.
• Track every backlink, listing, and SEO action in ClickUp, tagging relevant tea ---------- mbers for review.
• Support local SEO strategy to drive rankings and leads for small businesses.

White-Hat Link Building Do’s and Don’ts
We strictly follow Google Search Essentials (formerly Webmaster Guidelines). Applicants must agree to:

• Build links through legitimate outreach (guest posts, partnerships, local sponsorships, niche directories).
• Ensure backlinks come from relevant, high-quality websites.
• Diversify anchor text naturally (no over-optimization).
• Focus on content-driven link earning (e.g., creating valuable resources worth linking to).
• Document every backlink and its acquisition method in ClickUp.

? DO NOT:
• Buy or sell links that pass PageRank.
• Use PBNs (Private Blog Networks) or link farms.
• Use automated tools to create spammy backlinks.
• Engage in link exchanges at scale.
• Spam comments, forums, or irrelevant sites for links.
