JOB OVERVIEW

The Accountant will be able to complete the following duties:

-Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting
transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance.
-Develops system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of
accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.
-Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
-Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries.
-Uploads receipts to client transactions, as needed
-Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account
information and trends.
-Monitor and analyze financial data: Review and analyze financial statements, reports,
and records to ensure accuracy and identify trends or areas that require attention.
-Conduct regular and thorough reconciliations of financial statements, bank accounts,
and general ledger entries to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial records.
-Assist with budgeting and forecasting: Collaborate with management to develop and
monitor budgets, and provide support in preparing financial forecasts and
projections.
-Ensure compliance with financial regulations: Stay updated on relevant financial
regulations, policies, and procedures, and ensure adherence to them. Prepare and file
necessary tax documents and reports in a timely manner.
-Maintain confidentiality: Handle financial information with utmost confidentiality and
ensure data security.
-Identify process improvements: Continuously evaluate processes to increase
efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.

-The Accountant will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing financial reports for our
clients. Our ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of bookkeeping, reconciling accounts,
auditing and budgeting procedures. You should be able to monitor daily transactions and
recommend ways financial health can be improved for our clients.

Accountant Requirements:
-Proven work experience as a Certified Public Accountant or Senior Accountant
-Thorough knowledge of accounting and financial procedures
-Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
-Advanced MS Excel knowledge (familiarity with formulas, VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
-Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
-Experience with QuickBooks Online
-QuickBooks Pro Advisor preferred
-Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
-Degree in Accounting or Finance or related fields
-CPA certification preferred

Job Type: Part-time Contractor - Monday - Friday
