Cloud Infrastructure Administrator (Remote)

Hello!

We are a small technology solutions company offering private cloud hosting, managed IT services, AI integrations, and a SaaS service focused on the teleservices industry.

We are seeking a “Rock-Star” Cloud Infrastructure Administrator to work remotely full-time from home. You would be performing a cross-section of tasks including cloud/server management, cloud automation, clustered storage management, network management, and general IT support. This is a contractor position.

Key Technical Skills Required - You must be very strong in all of the following:

• Cloud infrastructure - virtualization - XCPng - Proxmox - deploying/managing cloud environments
• Clustered storage management – CEPH
• Docker and Kubernetes
• Linux systems administration
• Windows server systems administration
• Automation … Microsoft Windows automation, Terraform, PXE Booting, Ubuntu Autoinstaller, Cloud-Init
• Networking: IP addressing, subnetting, firewalls, routing/switching, DNS, etc.

Preferred to have, but not required:

• Ability to code in Python/Scripting/SQL

We are a very small company with a fairly fast-paced environment. For this position, you must be a self-starter. You would be working with many different technologies and help to manage, automate and harden our private cloud. We also provide AI integration services, so you would have exposure to AI deployed in a private cloud.

We hire with the intent that you would become part of our team for the long-term.

Our audience is Americans….. So you would need to have EXCELLENT spoken English skills (without a discernable accent), plus very good written/grammar skills.

Work Schedule:
The work week schedule would be something like:
Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00pm Central Standard Time USA.
Some weekend work and overtime will be required.
