Video editor

I’m looking for a skilled Video Editor with hands-on experience editing short-form content for social media.

What You’ll Be Doing

Editing raw video footage into polished content (cuts, transitions, pacing, storytelling).

Adding captions, graphics, animations, and effects where needed.

Optimizing videos for different platforms (aspect ratios, lengths, formats).

Ensuring consistent branding, style, and quality across all videos.

Delivering final edits on time with room for revisions when necessary.

What I’m Looking For

Proven experience editing videos for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or similar platforms (please provide samples or portfolio).

Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual flow.

Familiarity with editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).

Ability to adapt edits for different audiences and platforms.

The Right Fit

Since this role is independent and results-driven, I need someone who is:

Reliable and detail-oriented.

Comfortable working with minimal supervision.

Creative and proactive with suggestions to improve content.

Clear and concise in communication and feedback.

Work Schedule & Pay

About 5–10 hours per week to start (with potential to increase as projects grow).

Flexible schedule, as long as deadlines are met.

Rate: $5–8/hour, depending on experience and fit.

Growth Opportunities

As projects expand, this role could grow into more hours, larger projects, and performance-based bonuses. You’ll work directly with me, and if things go well, we could collaborate long-term.
