Web Designer (WordPress/Figma)

Solum Solutions LLC is a consulting company that helps startups launch fast with clean branding, conversion-focused websites, and automated workflows. We’re hiring a Web Designer to design and build a modern, fast, and compliant marketing site for Solum Solutions.

Responsibilities

Design high-conversion web pages, sections, and components in Figma (responsive/mobile-first).

Build the approved designs in WordPress (Block Editor or Elementor) with clean HTML/CSS; optimize for speed and accessibility (Core Web Vitals).

Set up contact/booking forms with compliant SMS/email consent (unchecked checkbox, STOP/HELP note).

Integrate basic SEO foundations (titles, meta, schema for Local Business), Google Analytics/Tag Manager, and Search Console.

Implement content templates for Services, Packages, About, Blog/Resources, and Case Studies.

Add legal pages (Terms, Privacy) and cookie/consent banner.

Connect forms to email/CRM (e.g., Zoho/HubSpot) with consent logging.

QA across browsers/devices; handoff documentation.

Must-Have Skills

Web Design (Figma) — strong UI/UX and typography.

WordPress site building — page builder or Gutenberg, custom CSS.

HTML/CSS, basic JS; responsive and accessibility best practices.

Nice to Have

Elementor/Bricks/Block Editor experience, Tailwind CSS understanding.

Basic SEO (schema, sitemaps), performance tuning (caching, image/WebP).

Form/automation tools: WPForms/Fluent Forms, Zapier/Make, HubSpot/Zoho.

Tools We Use
Figma, WordPress, WPForms/Fluent Forms, Google Analytics, Search Console, Tag Manager, Zoho/HubSpot (or similar).

How We’ll Work

You design in Figma ? we review ? you build in WordPress.

Communicate via email/Slack; track tasks in simple Kanban (Trello/ClickUp).

Clear specs, fast feedback, and friendly collaboration.
