JOB OVERVIEW

We are a fast-growing residential and commercial cleaning company seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper / HR Virtual Assistant to join our team. This is a long-term, part-time position (20–30 hours per week) for someone who is reliable, organized, and eager to grow with us.

Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping & Financial Management

Manage QuickBooks Online (reconciling accounts, categorizing transactions, updating ledgers).

Create, implement, and manage budgets for each of our office locations.

Track and analyze expenses to ensure accuracy and cost control.

Monitor accounts receivable and payable.

Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).

Assist with payroll calculations and expense reimbursements.

Monitor invoices and vendor payments.

HR & Admin Support:

Assist with recruitment (job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling).

Maintain employee records and HR files.

Track employee attendance, PTO, and turnover rates.

Create HR-related reports (turnover, retention, attendance, performance tracking).

Help create HR forms, policies, and compliance documents.

Provide general administrative support as needed.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in bookkeeping and HR/administrative support.

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail).

Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).

High attention to detail and accuracy with numbers.

Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Organized, proactive, and able to meet deadlines independently.

Must be able to work during U.S. Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours.

Preferred Skills (Not Required but a Plus)

Experience creating and managing multi-location budgets.

Ability to generate KPI dashboards or summary reports for HR and finance.

Understanding of U.S. payroll, taxes, or labor compliance.

Background working with service-based businesses.

Work Schedule & Pay

Part-Time: 20–30 hours per week, Monday – Friday (working hours would be between 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST)
