Overview
We are looking for an HR Specialist with proven experience in hiring on-site staff in the United States. The role includes full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, HR operations, and creating SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to ensure smooth processes. Strong communication skills in English (B2+ level) are mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Lead recruitment for on-site staff (teachers, activity leaders, camp counselors, coordinators).
Post job ads, source candidates, screen, interview, and coordinate hiring for multiple program sites.
Ensure compliance with US labor laws and hiring standards.
HR Operations & SOPs
Develop HR policies and SOPs for staff recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management.
Maintain accurate staff records and ensure all required documentation is completed.
Support smooth onboarding and training of new staff for school sites and camp programs.
Employee Support & Compliance
Serve as HR point of contact for on-site staff regarding policies, schedules, payments and contracts.
Ensure compliance with state/local requirements (background checks, certifications, etc.).
Support team coordination between staff, site leaders, and central management.
Requirements
Mandatory: Proven experience hiring on-site staff in the US.
Knowledge of US labor laws, compliance, and HR best practices.
Experience in creating and implementing SOPs.
English proficiency: B2 level or higher (written and spoken).
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Experience with HRIS, ATS, and scheduling tools is a plus.
Background in managing seasonal/part-time staff is a plus.
