Job Title: Business Development & Digital Marketing Associate
Location: Remote (must speak good English and be familiar with U.S. commercial real estate markets)
Type: Part-Time / Full-Time (10-20 hours per week for part-time or 40 hours per week for full-time)
Overview
We are seeking a motivated and resourceful professional to join our team. This role combines business development through cold calling with digital marketing/SEO expertise. The ideal candidate will be comfortable contacting local businesses about real estate opportunities and also capable of improving our company website to rank higher in search results, including optimizing for AI-driven search engines.
Key Responsibilities:
--Cold Calling & Business Development:
-Research and identify potential tenants in specific trade areas. For example:
--If we need a pizza operator in a given shopping center, compile a list of every pizza place within a 10-mile radius and call each one to introduce the opportunity.
--If we are targeting nail salons, create a similar call list of nail salons within the defined radius, reach out to owners/managers, and gauge interest in expanding or relocating into the available space.
-Tailor outreach depending on the type of business we are pursuing (restaurants, service providers, retailers, fitness concepts, etc.).
-Contact business owners and decision-makers directly to explain available spaces, gather interest levels, and schedule follow-ups.
-Maintain organized records of outreach in spreadsheets to track calls, responses, and outcomes for both internal review and client reporting.
--Digital Marketing & Website Optimization:
-Audit and enhance our website’s design, layout, and user experience.
-Implement SEO strategies to improve rankings in Google and AI-driven search results.
-Monitor and report on keyword performance and site traffic.
-Suggest and execute strategies to increase visibility and lead generation from online searches.
Qualifications:
-Prior experience in commercial real estate (retail, office, industrial, or mixed-use preferred).
-Proven success in cold calling and lead generation.
-Strong communication and persuasion skills with confidence speaking to business owners.
-Digital marketing and SEO expertise, with specific knowledge of optimizing sites for AI search platforms.
-Familiarity with website design tools (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, or similar).
-Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets for tracking and reporting.
-Self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet goals.
