Biller / Credentialing Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Biller / Credentialing Specialist to support our growing practice. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, reliable, and knowledgeable in insurance billing processes and credentialing systems.

Responsibilities

Submit accurate and timely billing

Follow up on denied claims and resolve issues

Conduct eligibility checks and verify insurance information

Maintain and update CAQH profiles

Complete and follow up on credentialing applications with payers and networks

Reconcile claims and ensure payments are received

Requirements

3+ years of experience in billing (healthcare or mental health preferred, but not required)

Familiarity with credentialing, CAQH, and payer applications

Strong attention to detail and consistency in follow-through

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Contract Terms

This is a 1099 contractor position, paid via PayPal or Cash App.

Work is assigned as available; hours and pay structure will be discussed.

Contract may be ended if work is inconsistent or repeated billing errors occur.
