Magento 2 Developer (Freelance / Remote)

We’re looking for an experienced Magento 2 Developer to join our team and help manage ongoing development tasks. I currently have a large workload and need someone reliable, skilled, and comfortable with modern Magento 2 technologies.

Responsibilities:

Work on theme customization and frontend changes

Implement and optimize Algolia search

Handle backend development tasks and integrations

Conduct operational checks to ensure site stability and performance

Collaborate using GIT version control and follow OTAP (Development ? Testing ? Acceptance ? Production) workflows

Requirements:

Proven hands-on experience with Magento 2

Strong understanding of Magento 2 store operations (frontend & backend)

Experience with Algolia integration and other modern Magento tools

Solid knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS

Familiarity with GIT workflows and OTAP environments

Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality code

Good communication skills

Nice to Have:

Experience with performance optimization and troubleshooting

Knowledge of deployment pipelines or CI/CD in Magento 2
