Job Description: Sales Development Representative
Title: Lead Qualifier & Appointment Setter
Reports to: Sales Manager (currently CEO, Chrissy Myers)
Department: Sales & Marketing
Location: Remote

Compensation
Base Pay: $5 USD per hour (40 hours/week, full-time)
Bonus Incentives: Performance-based incentives tied to qualified appointments and speaking opportunities. The bonus structure will be defined during onboarding and aligned with weekly and monthly KPIs.

Overview
Gibson-Myers is seeking a motivated Lead Qualifier to join our Sales & Marketing team. This role is the front line of our growth efforts — responsible for qualifying high-volume HR leads and identifying speaking opportunities for the CEO.


The Lead Qualifier ensures that only well-qualified prospects enter the sales pipeline, enabling our sales team to focus on building relationships and closing deals. This is an ideal role for someone with excellent spoken English, a professional demeanour, and strong organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities
Lead Qualification
Qualify a minimum of 200 HR leads per week using defined criteria (company size, HR needs, compliance challenges, budget, and timeline).
Conduct initial outreach via email, phone, LinkedIn, and SMS as appropriate.
Gather essential prospect information and update records in AgencyBloc CRM.
Schedule qualified appointments with the Sales Manager or Account Executives.


Speaking Engagement Pipeline
Research and qualify 10 new speaking opportunities per week using platforms such as SpeakerHub, LinkedIn, and event websites.
Submit qualified opportunities to the Executive Assistant for Chrissy’s review and application.
Reach out to event organizers to confirm requirements, timelines, and speaker details when needed.
Maintain a speaking opportunity pipeline report and update weekly.

General Sales Support
Collaborate with the Marketing Assistant to align qualification activities with ongoing campaigns, podcasts, and funnels.
Follow call and email scripts, adapting communication to the prospect’s needs.
Attend weekly Sales & Marketing team check-ins, reporting on KPIs.
Refine outreach and qualification processes based on feedback from the Sales Manager.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
HR Leads Qualified: 200 per week minimum
Speaking Opportunities Qualified: 10 per week minimum
Appointments Scheduled: To be established after the first 90 days
CRM Accuracy: 95%+ of leads correctly entered and updated in AgencyBloc
Response Rate: 20% minimum on outreach attempts
Pipeline Reporting: Weekly reporting on leads and speaking opportunities


Qualifications
Required:
Excellent spoken and written English (neutral accent, professional phone presence).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable learning and using new systems (training provided for AgencyBloc and SpeakerHub).
Self-motivated and consistent in following structured processes.
Positive, professional communication style.
Preferred:
1+ year of experience in lead qualification, sales development, appointment setting, or customer-facing roles.
Familiarity with CRM tools, LinkedIn outreach, or event research.
Background in HR, consulting, or business development-related industries preferred.
