4-Month Contract (Remote – International Candidates Welcome)
We operate two Florida-based businesses — one in irrigation & outdoor lighting, the other in terrazzo & concrete construction. Both companies are established and growing, but we need stronger systems, automation, and accountability to run more efficiently.
We’re seeking a hands-on Business Systems & SOP Implementation Specialist for a 4-month mandate. Your mission: turn both businesses into well-oiled machines by building SOPs, implementing automation, and enforcing accountability — so they run smoothly without daily owner oversight.
What You’ll Do
SOP Development & Training
• Build step-by-step SOPs for irrigation first, then terrazzo (field, office, sales, finance).
• Deliver written manuals + video walkthroughs for training.
• Provide training in asynchronous formats (videos, documentation), with optional live sessions to reinforce adoption.
• Fully implement SOPs and ensure staff follow-through.
Process Design & Automation
• Audit current software (SingleOps, QuickBooks Online, CRM, marketing tools).
• Recommend and implement cost-conscious, easy-to-use systems that minimize recurring vendor fees and are AI-ready.
• Build plug-and-play automations to reduce manual data entry and streamline scheduling, job tracking, purchasing, and reporting.
Accountability Framework
• Implement systems that ensure managers and staff are accountable for follow-through.
• Build dashboards and weekly reporting tools for visibility.
• Establish measurable performance expectations and track compliance.
Cross-Business Rollout
• Apply lessons and frameworks from irrigation to terrazzo, completing SOPs and accountability systems for both businesses.
• Ensure consistency across both companies while adapting to each business’s needs.
Post-Contract Handoff
• Provide a handoff package including SOPs, automation guides, and training library.
• Support a short transition period after the contract to ensure systems remain effective.
Deliverables & Milestones
Month 1
• Audit of existing tools and processes.
• Draft irrigation SOPs (field & office).
• Initial accountability framework proposed.
Month 2
• Completed irrigation SOP manual (field, office, sales, finance) with video walkthroughs.
• First automations live (reduced manual entry for irrigation).
• Accountability dashboards launched for irrigation.
Month 3
• Draft terrazzo SOPs (field & office).
• Extend automation workflows to terrazzo.
• Begin training terrazzo team asynchronously.
Month 4
• Finalized SOPs for both businesses (all departments).
• Full accountability system in place across teams.
• Training library (manuals + videos) delivered for onboarding.
• Owner freed from daily check-ins on routine tasks.
What We’re Looking For
• 5+ years’ experience in business operations, systems, or process improvement.
• Hands-on experience building and implementing SOPs in small/medium businesses.
• Proficiency with CRM, ERP, and automation tools (Zapier, AI integrations, etc.).
• Strong awareness of AI trends and ability to recommend future-ready solutions.
• Excellent written and spoken English for clear documentation and training.
• Leadership presence to train and enforce accountability with staff.
• Bonus: experience in construction, trades, or service industries.
Compensation
• Base salary: $1,200–$1,800 USD/month, paid monthly.
• Milestone bonuses: $500–$750 per milestone tied to deliverables.
• Completion bonus for successful delivery of all SOPs, automation, and accountability systems.
Why This Role Is Different
This is not advisory work. It is a hands-on implementation role with visible, measurable impact. You will leave behind systems, training, and tools that continue to run after your contract ends.
You’ll work directly with the owner in short weekly check-ins but will have autonomy to design, implement, train, and enforce accountability.
To Apply:
Send your resume and a short video (2–3 minutes) describing your experience building SOPs and automation in small businesses. Share examples of systems you’ve implemented and the efficiency they created.
