JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, and skilled video editor to work with our fast-growing DTC brand in the food/beverage industry. We are looking for editors with a strong understanding of storytelling and creating thumb-stopping, high-converting content that drives sales. You must have strong experience editing UGC content and raw footage.
Previous creative agency experience is preferred but not required.
Video editors with experience in using AI tools (Veo3, MakeUGC, Arcads, Icon, MidJourney, etc) are preferred but not required.
This is a part-time, remote role with potential to grow into a full-time position based on performance and fit.

What You’ll Do:

- Edit high-performing short-form videos mainly for Facebook and Instagram with potential for Tiktok, Snapchat, Pinterest, and YouTube. Long-form content is a plus as well.
- Apply a strong understanding of key performance concepts in video ads, including hooks, CTAs, pacing, and storytelling structures that maximize purchases.
- Iterate on top-performing ads quickly and efficiently as directed by the creative team.
- Stay ahead of design trends to push creative boundaries and bring fresh ideas to the team.
- Implement effective pacing and transitions to keep specific target audiences engaged.
- Work with existing raw footage, UGC clips, voiceovers, and brand assets to create edits.
- Balance speed and quality. We may sometimes need to pivot and have quick turnaround times, so this will be essential, but attention to detail is non-negotiable.

What You’ll Need:

- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (or similar editing software), Canva, Figma.
- A portfolio that shows short-form mastery, specifically UGC and direct response marketing videos.
- Attention to detail is a must as well as ability to be receptive to feedback.
- Ability to follow brand guidelines and creative briefs.
- Strong instincts and creativity for what performs on Meta and TikTok.
- Ability to manage multiple edits at once without dropping the ball.
- Bonus points if you’ve edited ad creatives or content that drove sales.
