Senior Accountant / Financial Manager

About us
Raven Tanks designs, builds, and services engineered water storage across Australia for fire, potable, industrial, and process applications. We are growing and need a switched on accounts operator who owns WIP, invoicing, and compliance.

Key responsibilities
• Prepare WIP reports for all open jobs at cutoff dates
• Track costs to date and invoices to date per job and reconcile to WIP
• Raise client invoices on time and follow up overdue accounts
• Manage payables and receivables and keep Xero tidy and up to date
• Support QBCC and audit requests and maintain clean job files
• Lodge BAS and keep GST, PAYG, super, and tax obligations on time
• Provide weekly cashflow and aged receivables updates
• Work with project managers to capture all costs and variations
• Maintain tidy records and proof for every figure you submit

Must have
• Experience in accounts or bookkeeping in a jobs based or construction environment
• Hands on WIP understanding using costs to date and invoices to date
• Xero experience
• Strong Excel and attention to detail
• Clear written and verbal communication and a proactive follow up mindset

Nice to have
• Experience with QBCC reporting
• Experience with job cost modules or project accounting tools
• Understanding of Australian payroll basics and super
