JOB OVERVIEW

Research and identify grant opportunities that align with CAWA’s mission and programs.

Write and submit high-quality grant proposals, applications, and funding reports.

Develop content related to CAWA programs and outcomes for use in proposals and donor reports.

Collaborate with staff to gather data, budgets, program descriptions, and success stories.

Support in writing organizational reports and documentation as needed.

Assist with administrative responsibilities related to fundraising and grant tracking.

Maintain accurate records of applications, deadlines, and reporting requirements.

Write blogs or articles highlighting CAWA’s initiatives, achievements, and community impact.

Support the Executive Director in building and maintaining relationships with funders.
Write, edit, and proofread content for CAWA’s website, blog, social media, newsletters, and reports.

Develop written content about CAWA programs, events, and initiatives for internal and external audiences.

Assist with preparing program and organizational reports.

Write blogs and storytelling pieces to highlight community voices, CAWA’s impact, and cultural heritage.

Ensure all content reflects CAWA’s mission, values, and brand identity.

Collect stories, testimonials, and program updates in collaboration with staff.

Support in administrative responsibilities related to communications and reporting.

Draft media releases, partnership communications, and promotional materials.

Monitor content engagement and suggest improvements to increase outreach and impact.
