About the Role
We're seeking a highly experienced Loan Officer Assistant to join our growing mortgage lending business. This is a specialized role requiring deep expertise in mortgage operations, not entry-level training.

Core Responsibilities:

Preapprovals: Calculate income and assess guidelines for Conventional, FHA, and VA loans

Pipeline Management: Track and coordinate loan progress from application to closing

Loan Setups: Ensure accurate loan file preparation and documentation

Required Qualifications:

3+ years experience as a Loan Officer Assistant or similar mortgage role
Expert knowledge of Conventional, FHA, and VA loan guidelines
Proven experience calculating income for both W2 employees and self-employed borrowers
Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
Demonstrated experience communicating with realtors, title companies, and underwriters
Proficiency in loan origination systems (LOS)
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Broker experience working with wholesale lenders and bank portals (UWM, Rocket Pro TPO, etc.)
Additional languages a PLUS: Punjabi, Hindi, or Spanish
Experience with specific LOS platforms
Understanding of US mortgage regulations

Communication Requirements:
Must be comfortable and professional in:

Phone conversations with clients and industry professionals

Email correspondence and documentation
Text messaging for time-sensitive updates
Video calls for tea ---------- etings
