Job Title: Virtual Assistant for Bar Management (Admin Support)
Description:?We’re a busy bar in Toronto, Canada and I’m looking for a reliable Virtual Assistant to help handle the administrative side of operations so I can focus on running the team and improving the guest experience.
This is a long-term role for someone detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and organize vendor invoices and communications
* Maintain and update inventory spreadsheets (food, liquor, supplies)
* Assist with staff scheduling (using apps like 7shifts, Google Calendar, or Excel)
* Track payroll/tips data and prepare weekly reports
* Organize receipts and expense tracking
* Follow up with suppliers for orders and delivery confirmations
* Support with staff onboarding paperwork and training documents
* General admin support
Requirements:
* Strong written and spoken English
* Excellent with spreadsheets (Google Sheets/Excel)
* Organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow SOPs
* Experience as a VA, admin assistant, or bookkeeper (hospitality/bar experience a plus!)
* Reliable internet connection and availability during Canadian business hours (Eastern Time preferred, flexible otherwise)
Nice to Have (but not required):
* Familiarity with POS systems (Lightspeed, TouchBistro, or similar)
* Experience in bookkeeping/accounting
* Understanding of bar/restaurant operations
Hours & Pay:
* Part-Time or Full-Time available.
* Pay: [$2-4 USD/hour depending on experience, or fixed monthly salary if you prefer]
* Long-term position with room to grow if you perform well
