Mobile App Developer (iOS & Android) for SoberSynq Recovery Platform

About SoberSynq

SoberSynq is a nonprofit organization integrating technology, recovery support, and spiritual well-being into one unified platform. We are launching a next-generation mobile app with features for recovery tracking, healing content, donor integration, and community building.

Our MVP is currently on TestFlight for iOS, and we need a skilled mobile developer to finalize core features, implement new modules, and prepare the app for App Store & Google Play release.

Key Responsibilities
• Review existing TestFlight build and codebase for optimization and final deployment
• Develop and integrate new modules, including:
• Dating Profile Module: Secure, consent-forward system with matching, filters, and privacy protections
• Geofencing Check-In System: For probation departments, sponsors, and treatment centers with real-time attendance logging, identity verification, and automated email reporting
• Implement Stripe for donations, subscriptions, and premium feature access; prepare for PayPal/Payoneer expansion
• Set up Cloudflare security for API endpoints, user data, and platform stability
• Integrate off-site data storage and encryption protocols for user privacy compliance (GDPR/HIPAA-like standards)
• Optimize user interface for iOS/Android with clean UX and accessibility in mind
• Implement push notifications for daily gratitude prompts, recovery milestones, and court compliance reminders
• Collaborate with project manager, designers, and nonprofit leadership via Asana and Slack
• Prepare final App Store and Google Play submissions

Requirements
• Proven experience with Flutter or React Native for cross-platform development
• Strong understanding of geolocation APIs (Google Maps, Mapbox, or equivalent)
• Experience with Stripe integration and secure payment flows (PCI compliance knowledge a plus)
• Familiarity with Cloudflare setup and web application security best practices
• Experience building real-time features (Firebase, WebSockets) for chat and check-ins
• Knowledge of identity verification methods (OAuth, biometrics, ID scan APIs)
• Past work with dating/social platforms or location-based apps preferred
• Comfort with Asana, Slack, GitHub, and collaborative remote workflows

Bonus Skills
• AI/ML experience for relapse prediction, chat features, or moderation tools
• Familiarity with nonprofit technology stacks or donor management integrations
• UX/UI design collaboration skills with Figma/Canva teams

Work Setup & Compensation
• Remote, part-time to start; potential full-time as funding scales
• Flexible hours; must attend weekly Zoom/Slack syncs
• Payment: $6–$8/hour (negotiable based on experience & deliverables)
• Paid via OnlineJobs.ph payroll with Payoneer or PayPal withdrawal options
• Opportunity for long-term role as we expand into Phases 2 & 3 (wearables, relapse prediction, court systems)
