JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented WordPress WooCommerce Web Developer to ensure our eCommerce site remains secure, fast, and fully functional. This role includes regular technical maintenance, light content updates, and product management. If you’re experienced with WordPress — especially WooCommerce — and confident navigating plugins, performance tools, and backend management, we’d love to hear from you.

In addition to managing the website, you'll oversee and maintain our custom product builder powered by KickFlip. This platform is user-friendly and training will be provided. You'll be responsible for updating and managing product configurations within the builder.

Responsibilities:
- Keep the website secure, fast, and fully updated
- Regularly update WordPress core, themes, and plugins
- Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues, bugs, or downtime
- Manage regular backups and ensure quick recovery when needed
- Maintain a staging environment for safe testing of updates
- Add and update products, blog posts, and landing pages (content provided)
- Manage and update our custom product builder (training provided)
- Work with the team on seasonal updates, promotions, and new features
- Recommend and implement improvements to site speed, SEO, and user experience

Requirements:
- Proven experience managing WordPress and WooCommerce sites
- Proficient with Elementor, WP Rocket, Yoast, and other essential plugins
- Skilled in performing backups, troubleshooting, and using staging sites
- Able to follow branding and content guidelines accurately
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Basic understanding of on-page SEO and website optimization
- Proactive, self-directed, and detail-oriented

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with hosting platforms like Hostinger or similar
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Familiarity with Astra Theme and Elementor for layout and design
- Understanding of eCommerce operations and product publishing workflows
- Experience with Photoshop or other design tools (bonus but not required)

Hours & Compensation:
• Hours: Part-time
• Compensation: The starting salary is $150–$200 per month during the initial three-month provisional period. After this period, both salary and potential for a full-time position will be reviewed and adjusted based on performance and demonstrated skills.
