Job Position: REDLINES ENGINEER

Position Overview
Nova Underground LLC is an underground utility construction company specializing in telecommunication projects. We are committed to delivering high-quality construction services, including fiber and conduit installation. We are seeking a detail-oriented Redlines Engineer responsible for reviewing, updating, and maintaining redline drawings to ensure accuracy between field construction and design documents. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience with engineering drawings, and the ability to communicate effectively with field crews and office teams.

Key Responsibilities
Review construction drawings and compare them with field as-built conditions
Apply redline markups to engineering drawings based on field updates and project changes.
Coordinate with field supervisors, locate coordinators, and project managers to verify design adjustments.
Maintain drawing revisions and version control in alignment with company standards.
Provide final redlined drawings for as-built record submissions.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and engineering standards.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field (preferred, but experience may substitute).
2+ years of experience with redlines, drafting, or as-built documentation in construction or telecom projects.
Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, or equivalent).
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both office and field teams.

Preferred Skills
Background in OSP (Outside Plant) or telecommunication projects.
Familiarity with underground utilities, fiber installation, and permitting requirements.
Experience working with GIS mapping or utility tracking software.
