Most SEO gigs are all bark, no bytes.
“Run an audit,” they say.
“Send over your recommendations,” they say.
And then… that’s it.
Zero implementation. Zero follow-through. Zero impact.
But we’re not here for that kind of SEO.
We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just talk technical SEO — they live it, breathe it, and fix it.
???? What We Actually Need:
We’re hiring a freelance Technical SEO Specialist who can:
- Run proper technical SEO audits
- Actually implement the recommendations (yes, you’ll be inside the site)
- Set up schema markup like it’s second nature
- Optimize pages: titles, headers, meta descriptions, image alts, internal links—you know the drill
- Troubleshoot and finesse things directly in WordPress (Elementor/Gutenberg experience = must)
- Be comfortable editing raw HTML when things get messy
Tools You’ll Be Using (so you should already know them):
We love efficient people. But we really love people who know their tools:
- Screaming Frog – for deep crawls
- Ahrefs – for backlinks, content gaps, and audits
- Google Lighthouse + PageSpeed Insights
- Grammarly – for duplicate content checks
- Google’s Rich Results Test – because schema matters
- Google Business Profile Manager – for local SEO and GMB optimization
This Is a Team Role
We’re not just looking for a one-off freelancer — we’re looking to bring someone into our workflow.
You’ll be:
- Working on 8–12 websites under our control
- Handling technical audits and on-page SEO changes
- Joining a 1-hour weekly online meeting (US time) with me and the team
- Communicating regularly via Slack or
- Not doing link-building
This is a long-term freelance opportunity for someone who wants to work with a team, not just for a task.
What You Should Already Know
We’re not here to train someone from scratch — and we’re guessing you’re not here for that either.
So we’re looking for someone who:
- Has already done end-to-end SEO audits
- Can jump into WordPress (Elementor + Gutenberg) and start optimizing right away
- Knows HTML well enough to fix funky markup without breaking things
- Doesn’t just dump audit reports — you actually implement them
- Can spot thin content, crawl issues, slow load times, and other hidden SEO killers
This Role Isn’t for You If:
- You only want to write strategy docs and don’t want to touch the backend
- You need a dev to implement every recommendation
- You get hives when someone says “Can you edit the HTML real quick?”
- You still think WordPress is just for blogging
What You Get:
- Fully remote, flexible schedule
- Growth opportunity with consistent, long-term work across multiple sites
- Competitive rate based on skill, speed, and experience
- No fluff, no BS, no meetings about meetings
How to Apply: Skip the generic cover letter.
Just send us:
- A quick note that shows you actually read this (no “Dear Hiring Manager” here)
- Examples of SEO audits you’ve run — and what you actually implemented
- Any WordPress/Elementor/Gutenberg sites you’ve worked on
- Bonus: A nerdy SEO thing you fixed that you were secretly proud of
