Insurance Data Analyst

Purpose: Support compliance, reporting, and decision-making by cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing insurance and benefits data.

Responsibilities:

Process and validate enrollment, premium, and claims data.

Build and maintain dashboards for compliance, ACA, and financial tracking.

Conduct variance analysis and spot data anomalies.

Prepare monthly reimbursement and compliance reports.

Partner with operations to optimize data collection processes.

Required Qualifications:

3+ years in data analysis or insurance operations.

Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (formulas, pivot tables, data validation).

Experience with benefits/insurance data sets (plans, carriers, ACA).

Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with SQL or BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).

Experience in U.S. healthcare/benefits compliance (ACA, COBRA, HIPAA).

Success Measures:

Accuracy and timeliness of monthly reporting.

Reduction of data errors/omissions.

Insight quality delivered to leadership.
