About our team:

Servicing the whole of WA, we are an emerging EPC company delivering renewable solar, wind and battery projects of scale. We take pride in delivering a range of scalable systems, with a niche in large commercial and standalone systems.



About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Solar Project Estimator to join our team. This is a permanent full-time role and will include the following key duties and responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs for grid-connected and off-grid solar PV systems (commercial and industrial scale).

Interpret engineering drawings, single-line diagrams, technical specifications, and scope documents.

Perform BOM take-offs from CAD drawings and aerial imagery (e.g., LocateV5, google earth)

Liaise with suppliers to gather updated pricing for materials and equipment.

Evaluate labour, freight, crane, civils and permit costs specific to WA solar installations.

Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to align design feasibility with cost-effectiveness.

Maintain accurate records of all cost data and estimation reports.

Support customer proposals as needed.



Nice to have:

Proven experience as an Electrical Project Estimator or application with Solar PV industry.

Solid understanding of solar PV system components, design principles, and installation practices in Australia.

Familiarity with WA Energy regulations.

Proficiency in common estimating tools (MS Excel or similar)

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

Strong communication and time management skills.

Ability to work independently in a remote setting while coordinating with a distributed team.

Proficient skills in Microsoft office
