Short form video editor

We’re looking for a talented short-form video editor who specializes in fast-paced, high-energy edits for the food & restaurant niche. The ideal candidate knows how to craft engaging social media videos using viral hooks (PAS formula), fast cuts, dynamic text, and trend-driven editing.

Responsibilities:

Edit 15-60 second Reels/TikToks/Shorts with high-energy storytelling
Use fast cuts, zoom-ins, motion tracking, and dynamic captions
Follow the PAS formula (Problem, Agitate, Solution) for strong hooks
Sync sound effects & music to enhance engagement
Ensure videos are formatted correctly for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
Deliver edits within 24-48 hours
Requirements:

Proven experience editing short-form content in the food/restaurant niche (or similar)
Strong understanding of pacing, viral storytelling, and retention techniques
Ability to match edits to trending sounds & use captions effectively
Experience with CapCut, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro
Reliable and can handle multiple videos per week
Bonus:

Worked with food brands, restaurants, or chefs
Familiar with AI-assisted editing tools like Descript or Opus Clip
