Web Developer

About the Role
We are hiring a full-time Web Developer to own the build and maintenance of our company website. This is a hands-on coding role where you’ll be responsible for clean, scalable development that keeps our site fast, secure, and reliable. While you’ll collaborate with designers and marketers, your primary focus will be engineering, implementing features, maintaining integrations, and ensuring technical excellence.

Responsibilities
-Develop, test, and maintain website code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
-Customize and extend WordPress themes/plugins without relying on drag-and-drop builders.
-Ensure cross-browser, cross-device responsiveness and accessibility compliance.
-Optimize site speed, Core Web Vitals, and overall performance.
-Manage hosting environments, domain/DNS, and deployment pipelines.
-Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues quickly.
-Maintain Git version control and proper documentation for all changes.
-Support integration with third-party tools (APIs, analytics, CRM).

Qualifications
-3+ years of professional web development experience.
-Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and PHP.
-Proven experience building and maintaining WordPress websites beyond template editing.
-Solid understanding of databases (MySQL) and server environments.
-Familiarity with hosting platforms (Kinsta, AWS, or similar) and CI/CD workflows.
-Strong debugging, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Nice to Have
-Experience with modern frameworks (React, Next.js, or Vue).
-Knowledge of API integrations, REST/GraphQL.
-Familiarity with GA4, Google Tag Manager, or CRM integrations (e.g., Salesforce).
-Security hardening experience (SSL, firewalls, plugin vetting).
