Scaffold Design Engineer

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join ISD' as a Scaffold Design Engineer. In this full-time position based in Work from Home, you will be responsible for designing and developing safe and efficient scaffold structures to support construction and maintenance projects. Your expertise in civil and structural engineering will be crucial in ensuring the integrity and safety of these temporary structures.

What you'll be doing

Reviewing project requirements and specifications to determine the appropriate scaffold design

Conducting structural analyses to ensure the scaffolding can safely support the intended loads

Monitoring the performance of scaffold structures and making necessary adjustments or modifications

Ensuring all scaffold designs comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices


Providing technical guidance and support to construction workers on the proper use and maintenance of scaffold systems

What we're looking for





Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering



At least 5 years of experience in scaffold design, preferably in the construction industry



Proficiency in using engineering design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis tools



Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations



Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills



Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams



Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders
