Bookkeeper

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and client-savvy Bookkeeper to support our food entrepreneur clients through packaged bookkeeping services. This role is part of a new initiative offering monthly bookkeeping support in pre-paid hourly blocks. You’ll onboard clients, manage monthly books and create accessible financial reports—with a human touch. This includes quarterly Loom video walkthroughs to help clients understand their numbers and build confidence. This is an ideal role for someone who loves small business support, has strong communication skills, and believes in the power of inclusive economic empowerment.

What we require

Key Responsibilities:

Client Onboarding & Setup
- Set up clients in Xero for Purpose (nonprofit version)
- Establish bank feeds, chart of accounts, and financial templates
- Guide entrepreneurs through the onboarding process and expectations

System & Process Development
- Help create standard operating procedures for onboarding and support
- Provide feedback to improve package offerings and reporting clarity
- Collaborate with CFO and Entrepreneur Services Manager to scale this new model
