Job Summary:

We are seeking a Part-Time Mortgage Assistant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a financial or underwriting background who is looking for flexible, part-time work. You’ll play an important role in supporting the mortgage process from start to finish, working closely with lawyers, appraisers, and clients to ensure smooth and efficient deal flow.

Key Responsibilities:

Communicate with lawyers and other third parties regarding mortgage files
Collect and track appraisals and supporting documents
Manage deal pipelines and keep accurate records of progress
Review documentation for accuracy and compliance
Conduct AML (Anti-Money Laundering) checks (training will be provided)
Provide general administrative support to the underwriting team

Qualifications:

Background in underwriting, finance, or related field (required)
Strong communication and organizational skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously
Comfortable working independently and in a remote environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar tools

Work Schedule:

Part-time: 20–29 hours per week
3 days a week
Must be available to work on Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours
