About Us:
We are a new Amazon FBA business looking to expand our team. We seek a dedicated and detail-oriented Amazon Virtual Assistant to become a foundational member of our team. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth day-to-day operations of our business, allowing us to focus on strategic growth and expansion.
Job Summary:
The Amazon Virtual Assistant / E-commerce Administrative Assistant will be the backbone of our daily operations. You will be responsible for various administrative, operational, and customer support tasks within our Amazon Seller Central account. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of the Amazon ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
• Customer Service:
o Respond promptly and professionally to all customer inquiries via the Buyer-Seller Messaging service.
o Manage and respond to customer feedback and product reviews (both positive and negative) to maintain a positive brand reputation.
o Handle returns, exchanges, and refund requests efficiently and according to company policy.
• Amazon Seller Central Administration:
o Monitor account health and performance metrics daily to ensure compliance with Amazon's policies.
o Open and manage cases with Amazon Seller Support to resolve issues such as listing problems or policy warnings.
o Manage FBA reimbursement cases for lost or damaged inventory to recover funds.
• Inventory and Order Management:
o Perform daily checks on inventory status to monitor stock levels.
o Assist in tracking FBA shipments and reconciling inventory.
o Process and confirm Fulfilled by Merchant (FBM) orders, if applicable.
• Administrative Support & Reporting:
o Perform data entry tasks and maintain organized records in Google Sheets/Excel.
o Compile and generate regular reports on sales trends, customer feedback, and other key performance indicators.
o Assist with basic product listing maintenance, such as updating text or images as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Required:
o Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or similar role, preferably within the e-commerce industry.
o Hands-on experience navigating and operating within Amazon Seller Central is essential.
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
o Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
o Proficient in using Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs) and/or Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
o A reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, suitable home-office environment.
o Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a proactive mindset.
• Preferred (Bonus Skills):
o Experience with customer service tools like Zendesk.
o Familiarity with Amazon FBA processes, including creating shipping plans and managing inventory reimbursements.
o Basic knowledge of e-commerce analytics tools (e.g., Helium 10, Jungle Scout) is a plus.
