Merchandising & Marketing Executive

We are looking for someone with experience creating webstore listings, writing articles and in content creation to join our fast growing team as a Merchandising & Marketing Executive.

The Company:
Our business has been around since 2000 and is a leader in its field in the UK. For 25 years we have been providing security equipment to British and International organizations and have a strong reputation for customer service, quality and technical support.

We are a physical business with an office, warehouse and production facility. Our online business only represents a small part of our total revenue at this stage but we are looking to grow it.

The Role:
The role will be working with our operations and marketing team to create and edit listings for our various new products on our websites, Amazon and Ebay. You will also assist on marketing projects such as new website text creation or translation using AI to assist.

Skills Required:
Excellent English Writing (Essential)
Product Listing Writing Experience (Preferred)
Experience with Wordpress and Woocommerce Backend (Preferred)
Experience with Amazon & Ebay Backend (Preferred)
Image Editing Using Canva or Adobe Express (Preferred)
Image Editing Using Photoshop/GIMP/Other Application (Preferred)

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) that runs in accordance with UK working times. This means that you would be working 9am – 17:30pm (UK Time) Mon – Fri. You will be working with our team in the UK and so we are unable to adjust these times.

The salary for this job is $5.68 an hour (approximately $1,000 per month, based on an average of 176 working hours). Please note that the exact monthly pay may vary depending on the number of working days in that month.

For example:
If a month has 20 working days (160 hours), pay would be around $908.80.
If a month has 23 working days (184 hours), pay would be around $1,045.12.
We also offer paid vacation for UK public holidays. Payment is made weekly on Friday afternoons via Wise.

This is a long-term position with our goal being to establish a full marketing team of VAs over the next 12 months. If you are unable to work long-term or are not serious about building a career with us, please do not apply. We are not looking for temporary workers, we are looking to establish a long-term team. We are not looking for part timers or people who disappear through-out the day. This is a full-time job and should be treated as such.

You should have precautions in place to prevent power outages and your PC should be capable of running most modern work applications. You internet should also be fast enough so that there are no communication black spots.
