Electrical by Design is a Brisbane-based electrical contracting company specialising in high-end residential homes and renovations. Our team of electricians is growing, and we need a reliable Admin & Scheduling Assistant to keep our jobs running smoothly.
Role Overview
We are looking for a full-time, long-term tea
Responsibilities
Enter new jobs and update details in Tradify (job management system).
Schedule jobs and manage changes for our field staff.
Prepare draft quotes using our templates.
Create and send invoices in Xero/Tradify.
Follow up overdue accounts with polite reminders.
Manage
Upload compliance certificates and maintain tidy records.
General administrative support as required.
Requirements
Strong written and spoken English.
At least 1 year of experience in admin/VA or similar role.
Experience with Xero and job management software (Tradify, SimPRO, ServiceM8, AroFlo, etc.) highly preferred.
Reliable internet and quiet home office setup.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work during Brisbane business hours (2–3 hours overlap minimum).
Nice to Have
Experience in the construction or trades industry.
Familiarity with Australian business practices (invoicing, GST, compliance).
