Video Editor – Stand-Up Clips & Podcast

Hi, I’m Reece Kidd, a Northern Irish comedian. I create stand-up comedy clips for YouTube and short-form platforms, and I’m also starting a history podcast. I’m looking for a reliable video editor who can help me turn a big backlog of footage into engaging content.

What You’ll Do

Stand-Up Clips

Add accurate, well-timed captions to stand-up clips (English must be excellent due to my Northern Irish accent).

Edit for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram.

Work with me to choose clips at the start, then gradually take on more independence in d ---------- what works.

Help set up a smooth system for producing and releasing clips consistently.

History Podcast

Edit full podcast episodes.

Create engaging short clips with added images, sound effects, and visuals to bring history stories to life.

Collaborate with me and my VA to work from timestamps and manage lots of footage.

Help build a workflow for releasing both long-form and short-form podcast content.

What I’m Looking For

Strong video editing skills (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar).

Excellent written and spoken English — captions must be accurate and clear.

Creative eye for making content engaging and attention-grabbing.

Reliable, organised, and able to handle large amounts of footage.

Comfortable collaborating but also confident working independently once systems are in place.

Nice to Have

Experience editing stand-up comedy or podcasts.

Knowledge of YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram trends.

Familiarity with adding ---------- s, images, or sound effects to keep content fun.

The Job

Remote, flexible hours.

Part-time to start, with potential for ongoing long-term work.

Pay: competitive, depends on experience.
