Project Based Shopify Website Specialist

About the Role
Pet N Pet® is seeking a project-based Shopify Website Specialist with strong design expertise to support our growing international team. The ideal candidate will be skilled at optimizing backend performance, enhancing site flow, and delivering a user-friendly, visually appealing design.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage, optimize, and maintain Shopify websites (both front end and back end).
• Audit site performance, navigation, and design to identify improvement opportunities.
• Research competitor websites and apply best practices in UX, design, and functionality.
• Improve website navigation, user journey, and checkout flow to boost conversions.
• Propose and implement new features, integrations, and design updates.
• Collaborate with our global web team (USA, Philippines, and China) for smooth execution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Shopify-related technical issues promptly.
• Ensure consistent branding and design standards across all website pages.

Requirements
• 3+ years of professional experience working with Shopify.
• Proven success in optimizing Shopify websites for both performance and design.
• Strong knowledge of Shopify app integrations and backend management.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Liquid for theme customization.
• Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and website flow optimization.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving Shopify-related technical challenges.
• Familiarity with customer segmentation, automation, and eCommerce best practices.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with international teams.

Additional Information
• Project-based role with flexible hours (some overlap with USA EST required).
• Remote position.
