Key Responsibilities
Create technical drawings: Use CAD software to produce detailed 2D and 3D models, blueprints, schematics, and plans for various products, buildings, or structures.
Collaborate with teams: Work closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and other professionals to understand project requirements and design specifications.
Translate designs: Convert rough sketches, layouts, and verbal instructions into precise and accurate technical drawings.
Ensure accuracy: Verify that drawings and designs meet industry standards, safety regulations, and project guidelines.
Prepare documentation: Assist in the creation of project documentation, reports, and construction documents.
Revise and update: Incorporate feedback from engineers and clients to revise and update drawings as projects evolve.
Maintain CAD standards: Adhere to and maintain industry standards, libraries, and best practices within the CAD software.
Skills and Qualifications
Technical proficiency: Strong skills in using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) to create technical drawings and models.
Industry knowledge: Understanding of engineering concepts, architectural drafting principles, and relevant industry standards.
Spatial reasoning: Excellent ability to understand and visualize spatial relationships in three dimensions.
