Social Media Marketer (Freelance ? Potential Long-Term Role)

CloseLook, an Afro-luxury handbag brand rooted in heritage and storytelling, is seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Marketer to help us expand our digital presence and drive sales during our launch phase. This is a freelance/gig opportunity with room to grow into a long-term role contingent on performance.

What You’ll Do:

Develop and execute a content strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest to grow awareness and sales.

Create content calendars that align with product launches, storytelling campaigns, and seasonal ---------- nts.

Write engaging, on-brand captions and hooks that reflect CloseLook’s Afro-luxury voice.

Manage posting, scheduling, and community engagement (comments, DMs, influencer outreach).

Track analytics and provide insights on what’s working, what’s not, and how to optimize.

Support launch campaigns with creative ideas that elevate CloseLook as a fashion-forward, story-driven brand.

Who You Are:

Creative and passionate about brand storytelling and social media growth.

Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok trends, with experience in creating engaging, shareable content.

Comfortable with analytics and using data to improve performance.

Experience in fashion, lifestyle, or e-commerce brands is a plus, but not required — we care most about creativity, initiative, and results.

Organized, reliable, and able to thrive in a startup environment with limited resources.
