Video Editor / Social Media content manager - 45 seconds video test

Job Post: Full-Time Video Editor / Studio Assistant

I am looking for a full-time video editor and studio assistant. You will be doing a variety of tasks, most of which I will create tutorials for or guide you through online calls.

Requirements:
Strong background in video editing is REQUIRED
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom, and Photoshop is REQUIRED
Proficiency in either Capcut or the Instagram Edits app
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are REQUIRED
Knowledge of basic color grading and photo editing is REQUIRED
Experience with Insta360 video editing is a HUGE plus
Graduating with an Art or media degree will be a HUGE plus

Familiarity with creating engaging videos for Instagram Reels and TikTok is a MUST

Pay: $500–$1000 (negotiable based on skill level, relevant experience, portfolio and computer equipment you own).

Job Scope:

Creating simple but effective short-form videos (Instagram Reels, TikTok)
Video editing, Color grading and basic photo editing support
Posting on social media platforms
Replying to social media messages and email enquiries
Assisting with photo editing when necessary

Using the provided video clips, music and images, create a simple Instagram Reel that:

Showcases behind-the-scenes footage from the shoot.
Transitions to the final cute photos that you select from the folder

Editing Notes:
You may use your phone to edit, but applicants who use Adobe Premiere Pro will receive bonus points
If using Premiere Pro, show it by applying the LUT on the flat video files (use: A7S3_Pike_V2_0-5_Skin1 , which is provided in the folder). After applying the LUT, adjust brightness and colors to ensure there is good exposure, and keep the color natural (hint, you probably only have to apply the LUT and make minor adjustments to contrast, highlights/shadows, and up the saturation to an appropriate level). No overly contrasty look. Grading should be consistent with the style on our Instagram page

A music file is also included in the folder. The audio should start at 0.8 seconds with "Pretty little baby"
Bonus points if you can beat-match the cuts to the music

Export the video in MP4 format, maximum 45 seconds in length
Upload your file via Google Drive or WeTransfer. Name the file in this format:
