Main Project: Semo – A global transparency and valuation platform for products, services, and supply chains

About the Role
We are seeking a highly capable and versatile Android and iOS app Developer to join the Semo development team.
You will be instrumental in building the Semo MVP and preparing it for rapid scaling. The role calls for a developer who can combine technical excellence with adaptability, ensuring that complex requirements are translated into a robust, scalable, and user-friendly application.


Key Skills & Competencies
*Mobile Development: 5+ years’ experience on Android and iOS Development, ideally with React Native 0.71+.
*Solid experience with Java and Spring Boot for backend development
*Skilled in relational database design and management (MySQL or PostgreSQL)
*Understanding of authentication systems such as Auth.js or Lucia
*Ability to integrate and manage multiple APIs, including large language model APIs
*Competence in deploying applications with Docker and managing server environments with NGINX
*Familiarity with frontend technologies and frameworks for supporting web tools and dashboards
*Awareness of data protection requirements such as GDPR compliance
*Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, self-directed work approach
*Capacity to work effectively in a remote, fast-paced, impact-driven environment
*Understanding of app store deployment (Google Play / App Store)


Optional but beneficial
*Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS / GCP / Azure).
*Familiarity with mobile performance optimization (lazy loading, caching, marker clustering for maps, etc.).
*Familiarity with mapping APIs (Google Maps, Mapbox, OpenStreetMap).
