Instagram Growth & DM Sales Manager

We’re hiring an Instagram Growth & DM Sales Manager who can attract the right followers organically and turn conversations into qualified leads, email opt-ins, and sales, without spammy tactics.

Important: This role focuses on growth, outreach, engagement, and DMs. Content creation is not included at the start. After we’ve worked together successfully, we may add content creation to the role.

What You’ll Do:

Organic Audience Growth
- Daily engagement with competitor and ideal client accounts (thoughtful comments, story replies, strategic follows/saves).
- Curate and refresh targeted lists (hashtags, creators, communities) weekly.
- Propose micro-experiments (story polls, prompts, engagement triggers) and report outcomes.

High-Intent DM Lead Generation
- Start value-first, personal DM conversations; qualify prospects; invite to lead magnet(s); track opt-ins and nurture to conversion.
- Handle objections and follow-ups with warmth, empathy, and clear CTAs.

Community Care
- Respond to comments/DMs within agreed guidelines; re-activate warm engagers (story viewers, recent commenters, likers).
- Light moderation (remove spam, flag fake profiles).

Profile & Funnel Optimization
- Suggest improvements for bio, highlights, and link-in-bio to increase clicks and opt-ins.
- Maintain a clean lead-tracking sheet (e.g., Google Sheets) for DM stage/status/outcomes.

Competitor & Social Listening
- Weekly pulse on competitor hooks, offers, and outreach angles; come proactively with suggestions (3–5 actionable ideas) for improvement and growth.

Reporting & Accountability
- Daily activity tracking (DMs started/replied, meaningful comments, saves) and weekly performance summaries (net follower growth, reach, reply rates, lead magnet opt-ins, qualified leads, assisted conversions).
- We’ll set exact reporting frequency/format based on performance, but you’ll be expected to own your numbers and hold yourself accountable.

You’re a Fit If You Have
- Minimum 2 years’ professional experience managing Instagram or social media with proven organic growth + DM conversion results (include examples/metrics).
- Real experience turning IG engagement into email opt-ins and sales via consultative DMs.
- Excellent written English; friendly, genuine, and persuasive DM style.
- Proactive mindset (constantly testing, learning, and bringing improvement ideas without being asked.)
- Organized, metric-driven, consistent with daily targets.
- Bonus: ManyChat/IG automations, Google Sheets, Canva.

Key KPIs (Examples)
- Daily: New high-intent DMs started, replies received, meaningful comments/story replies.
- Weekly: Net follower growth, lead magnet opt-ins from IG, reply rate, booked next steps.
- Monthly: Qualified leads generated, assisted conversions.
