Senior Front End Developer

The Role:

Adpulse is a fast-growing SaaS platform based in Australia, built to simplify and supercharge digital advertising management. We give advertising agencies and advertisers across the globe the tools to see everything in one place, work smarter across platforms, and drive better performance for their clients.

Our stack combines a Scala backend with a React frontend, powering advanced features like automated budget pacing, cross-platform dashboards, and performance insights. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Front-End Developer with a strong background in React to help us elevate our product experience to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own the front-end development of the Adpulse platform, working closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality features.

- Build, maintain, and optimize React components with TypeScript, including state management, forms, and data tables.
Implement responsive, accessible, and scalable UI using CSS frameworks (TailwindCSS preferred).

- Write clean, maintainable code with clear documentation, ensuring consistency across the codebase.

- Take initiative in identifying and solving problems, contributing to technical decisions, and roadmap discussions.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- More than 5 years of experience in front-end development.

- Solid JavaScript/TypeScript experience, with strong React skills

- Experience with GraphQL and Apollo Client for queries, mutations, and cache management

- Experience with CSS, ideally TailwindCSS

- Familiarity with React Hooks, React Table, and form handling libraries

- Experience building and maintaining SaaS product features in production environments

- Knowledge of data transformation and workflow design (filtering, pagination, queuing actions, undo/resolution logic)

- Experience with data visualisation, ideally using Nivo

- Experience with OAuth flows and account/organization onboarding

- Familiarity with backend integrations and understanding of how API design impacts front-end workflows

- Familiarity with Figma for collaborating with designers and implementing mockups

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make well-informed decisions under pressure.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
