Creative Web Designer / WordPress Developer Position Open at Digital Media Butterfly

Do not apply:
• If you do not have a portfolio that includes website mock-ups and live websites built in WordPress/Elementor.
• If you are just good at web design we are only looking for those who are VERY HIGH LEVEL and VERY CREATIVE.
• If you do not understand basic SEO best practices (tags, structure, metadata, image optimization, etc.).
• If you are not comfortable producing multiple distinct homepage mock-ups (2–3 variations) for the same client project.
Who We Need:
A highly creative and detail-oriented designer/developer who can independently create website mock-ups and bring them to life in WordPress/Elementor while ensuring sites are user-friendly and SEO-friendly.

About Your Job:
Your primary task will be creating custom website mock-ups, then developing responsive WordPress/Elementor websites based on approved designs. You’ll work independently but with support from our team for questions and check-ins.

• $6 USD per hour starting rate
• Weekly pay via Gusto
• 40 hours a week (full-time)

Duties Included:
• Designing website mock-ups.
• Creating 2–3 distinct homepage variations per client for review.
• Building custom, responsive websites using WordPress and Elementor.
• Applying basic SEO best practices to all websites.
• Managing your allocated workflow to ensure deadlines are met.
• Communicating regularly with your project manager regarding project status and hours worked.
• Having reliable internet, power, and equipment (plus backup plans in case of outages).

Personal Qualities Needed:
• Strong portfolio with website mock-ups and live Elementor sites.
• Must work at least 50% of daily hours overlapping 9 AM–5 PM Central Time
• Excellent English (verbal & written).
• Creative, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Self-motivated with good time management skills.
