As an active operator in the heavy-duty truck and trailer repair industry, we understand the market inside and out — and we already have major fleets lined up to onboard once our platform is ready.
Now we're looking for a talented React Native Developer based in the Philippines to build our cross-platform mobile experience for both iOS and Android.

ROLE OVERVIEW
As a React Native Developer, you'll:
* Build a cross-platform mobile app (iOS/Android) optimized for iPhone 15 and modern Android devices
* Implement voice-first interactions using AssemblyAI and OpenAI TTS for hands-free operation during repairs
* Create real-time WebSocket connections for instant communication between mobile and backend services
* Work with AI coding assistants (Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development
* Ensure offline capabilities with intelligent sync when connectivity returns
* Build intuitive UI that confirms voice commands visually while keeping technicians' hands free

Key Responsibilities
* Develop React Native application for both iOS and Android platforms
* Integrate voice capture and processing with AssemblyAI for natural language commands
* Implement OpenAI TTS for AI companion responses
* Build WebSocket infrastructure for real-time updates and voice streaming
* Create offline-first architecture with smart data synchronization
* Integrate with backend APIs for service orders, parts lookup, and diagnostics
* Implement camera features for capturing equipment photos/videos
* Write unit and integration tests for production reliability

Qualifications
* 2+ years of React Native development PROFESSIONAL experience
* Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills
* Experience building and deploying apps to both App Store and Google Play
* Understanding of React hooks, state management (Redux/Context API)
* Experience with REST APIs and async programming
* Familiarity with mobile-specific concerns (performance, battery, offline)
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment
* Bonus: Experience with voice interfaces, speech recognition, or audio processing
* Bonus: Experience with AI-assisted coding tools
* Bonus: Experience with WebSockets and real-time communication

Technical Requirements
* Proficient in React Native and React
* Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
* Understanding of mobile app lifecycle on both platforms
* Familiarity with push notifications and location services
* Experience with state management solutions
* Knowledge of mobile security best practices
* Experience with debugging tools (React Native Debugger, Flipper)

Compensation
* $4.00 – $5.00 per hour based on experience
* Full-time salary position (40 hours/week)
* Monthly earnings: $640 – $800 USD 
* This is a contractor role (not an employee role under Philippine law)
* Long-term engagement with potential for rate increases based on performance
* Paid weekly via international transfer
