Community & Outreach VA (BookTok / Bookstagram – Publishing Focus)

Description: We are building a techno-thriller book series, and need a BookTok-savvy VA to help manage outreach, engagement, and community growth on TikTok and Instagram.

Core Responsibilities
-Outreach & Influencer Relations
-Identify BookTokers and Bookstagrammers in thriller, sci-fi, cyberpunk, and dark fiction niches.
-DM and email influencers with ARC (Advance Review Copy) offers.
-Track responses and maintain a reviewer spreadsheet.
-Follow up with influencers who expressed interest.

Engagement & Community
-Reply to comments on TikTok and Instagram posts.
-Engage with followers and fans via DMs to direct them to Amazon, Goodreads, or ---------- .
-Highlight and share positive reviews on socials.

Trend Monitoring
-Track BookTok trending hashtags, sounds, and effects.
-Recommend weekly trends to the Marketing VA for video creation.

Reporting
-Weekly summary of influencer outreach (who accepted/declined).
-Weekly engagement stats (followers gained, top comments, shares).

Requirements
-Strong written English (must sound natural in TikTok/IG comments/DMs).
-Experience with social media engagement (TikTok/Instagram required).
-Familiarity with BookTok or Bookstagram culture preferred.
-Organized — must track outreach and engagement in Google Sheets.
