JOB OVERVIEW

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Web Developer with expertise in WordPress to join our team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development, maintenance, and optimization of client websites, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet project timelines and standards. This role involves building secure, scalable websites that include client portals for service showcasing, e-commerce functionalities, user account management, and support systems.


Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and customize WordPress websites, including themes, plugins, and integrations for features such as service showcases, terms and conditions pages, e-commerce purchasing, appointment scheduling, live chat, user account dashboards, bill payments, analytics viewing, and ticket creation.
• Implement role-based access controls to ensure customers have no direct access to backend editing, while providing secure portals for viewing analytics and submitting support tickets.
• Perform website maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with tea ---------- mbers to implement design specifications and user experience improvements.
• Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance on all developments, including security audits and scalability assessments.
• Provide efficient solutions to technical challenges while adhering to best practices.


Requirements: • At least 5 years of professional experience in website development using WordPress, with a focus on building client portals and e-commerce sites.
• Proficiency in WordPress core, including theme development, plugin customization, and integrations with tools such as WooCommerce for e-commerce, Bookly or Amelia for appointment scheduling, Tidio or LiveChat for real-time communication, and WP Support Desk or similar for ticketing systems.
• Strong knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, to create responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Expertise in back-end development, including PHP and MySQL or equivalent databases, for managing user data, authentication, and role-based permissions.
• Experience with payment gateways (e.g., Stripe or PayPal) and analytics integrations (e.g., Google Analytics) to support bill payments and dashboard features.
• Demonstrated ability to implement security measures, such as HTTPS, data encryption, two-factor authentication, and compliance with standards like PCI-DSS.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and performance optimization techniques to enhance site reliability and scalability.
• Demonstrated good work ethic, with a focus on being thorough and efficient in all tasks.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication.
• A portfolio showcasing previous WordPress projects and achievements, including examples of secure client portals and integrated functionalities.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection to support remote collaboration and video calls.
Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with additional platforms or tools, such as Webflow or Shopify, for potential future expansions.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git and agile development methodologies.
