JOB OVERVIEW

Title: Online Business Manager (OBM) / Operations Manager (Product-based)

Hours: ~4 hours per day, Monday–Friday (with potential to grow into more hours as needed)
Goal: Own day-to-day operations, launches, wholesale and client management, and community growth. Keep all moving parts of the business organized, efficient, and on brand.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operations & Coordination – Keep calendars, SOPs, and vendor/partner
communications organized and on track.
• Shopify & Inventory – Manage products, collections, and ensure the website is
polished and error-free.
• Wholesale & Client Relations – Handle retailer communications, reorders, and build
strong client relationships.
Email Marketing – Create simple weekly campaigns, manage lists, and track
performance.
• Content & Community – Draft captions, create graphics, organize UGC, and engage
the community.
• Social Media Growth – Daily outreach and tracking collaborations with customers,
boutiques, and influencers.
• Customer Care – Manage inbox, draft responses, update FAQs, and flag recurring
issues.
• Launch Support – Coordinate all tasks around product launches, from pre-launch buzz
to post-launch recaps.
• Content Calendar & AI Support – Build a monthly content calendar and use tools like
ChatGPT for captions and ideas.
• Blog & SEO – Publish one keyword-optimized blog post weekly.
• Reporting – Share weekly and monthly performance insights across sales, email, social,
and retail outreach.

Tools We Use:
• Shopify, Klaviyo, Canva, Later/Buffer, Instagram
• Google Drive/Sheets, Notion
• Zapier (automation), CRM tools (for outreach/wholesale)

Daily & Weekly Cadence:
Daily:
• Inbox triage and retailer communication
• Shopify updates and stock checks
• Social outreach and engagement
• Scheduled posting/content management
• One major focus project (email, blog, design, etc.)

Weekly:
• Monday: Plan week, update calendar, review performance
• Wednesday: Finalize/send email campaigns; prep weekend content
• Friday: Deliver performance snapshot; plan following week

What We’re Looking For:
• Experience as an OBM, Operations Manager, or similar role
• Strong organizational & project management skills
• Familiarity with Shopify, Klaviyo, and social media management
• Confident in handling both operations & client/wholesale relationships
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail
• Proactive, independent, and reliable
