Trendstop is a global fashion forecasting and trend intelligence agency. We’re looking for an experienced Descript Video Editor with a fast turnaround mindset.

We’re seeking a skilled and reliable Descript Video Editor to transform long-form recordings into polished, engaging content. You’ll be responsible for editing transcripts, cleaning audio, inserting visuals, and creating short, high-impact clips from full-length videos. This role is ideal for someone fluent in both basic and advanced Descript editing, with a strong eye for detail and story flow.

Key Responsibilities
• Transcript Editing – Clean and edit auto-generated transcripts for accuracy, removing filler words and ensuring a smooth reading flow.
• Insert Slides, Images & Media – Seamlessly layer in external media (slides, audio, video snippets, etc).
• Subtitles & Captions – Add and refine captions for accessibility, ensuring correct timing, punctuation, and speaker attribution.
• Clip Creation – Identify and extract short, engaging ---------- nts from long-form recordings to create social or educational snippets.
• Basic & Advanced Descript Tools – Use scene-by-scene formatting, multitrack editing, templates, and composition tools confidently.
• Structure & Flow – Edit down long sessions into logically structured, engaging outputs with smooth transitions and clarity.
• Exporting & Delivery – Deliver final assets in requested formats, optimized for web, platform, or internal use to tight deadlines.

Must-Have Skills & Experience
• Demonstrated experience editing in Descript (please provide portfolio links or samples)
• Strong working knowledge of both basic and advanced Descript features.
• Experience editing long-form content into short clips with narrative impact
• Excellent attention to transcript accuracy, audio clarity, pacing, and caption quality
• Ability to follow structured briefs and branding guidelines
• Fast and accurate project turn around times
• Fluency in spoken and written English
