JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Solar Administration Specialist to join our team, supporting Australian Solar businesses with end-to-end admin requirements. This is a remote role, but you will be a vital part of our team, ensuring accuracy, speed, and consistency in all aspects of solar administration.

This is not a generic admin role. To be considered, you must have hands-on experience in Australian solar administration. If you do not have this experience, please do not apply.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process STC submissions accurately and on time.
- Support grid connection applications and approvals across different states, understanding DNSP requirements and variations.
- Provide scheduling support for installation teams, ensuring jobs flow smoothly and customer expectations are met.
- Handle admin tasks related to solar compliance, system documentation, and project tracking.
- Liaise with STC providers, DNSPs, and other key stakeholders as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state-based differences for grid approvals and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with customer communications when required (bonus if you have prior customer service experience).
- Collaborate with our team remotely, ensuring smooth workflows and consistent reporting.

Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in Australian solar admin – applications without this will not be considered.
- Strong understanding of STC processes, grid connection approvals, and DNSP requirements.
- Experience working in high-volume solar environments.
- Attention to detail and ability to complete tasks with accuracy and speed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while being part of a remote team.
- Dedicated, reliable, and highly organized.

Highly Desirable
- Prior experience with Australian STC & Electricity providers.
- Experience in customer communication and handling post-installation queries.
- Current or past experience working in Australian Solar Admin for a BPO looking to transition into a remote work-from-home role.

What We Offer
- Working hours within Australia time zone (no graveyard shifts).
- Part-time role with potential progression to full-time.
- Opportunity to work with a dynamic, growing renewable energy business.
- Professional development opportunities to build your expertise in the renewable energy industry.
- Salary raise, bonuses & incentives based on performance review.
