Position Overview

The Data Mining Specialist will be responsible for collecting, extracting, and organizing data from various online sources to support business operations, research, and lead generation. This role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with different mining tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute data mining and web scraping scripts to gather data from multiple websites and platforms.

Clean, validate, and structure data for reporting and analysis.

Monitor and maintain mining processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Work with databases, spreadsheets, and CRM tools to organize and store collected data.

Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements and deliver data in usable formats.

Troubleshoot challenges, including site structure changes and access restrictions.

Ensure compliance with ethical data practices and company policies.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Data Mining Specialist, Data Scraper, or similar role.

Strong knowledge of Python, BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium, or other data extraction tools.

Familiarity with data management tools (Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, or databases).

Experience with APIs and automation tools is an advantage.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a virtual environment.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of data visualization and reporting tools.

Familiarity with lead generation processes.

Understanding of SEO, e-commerce, or market research data.
