We are a fast-growing, mission-driven virtual team in property management looking for someone who can do research, implement, and improve systems, automations, and workflows that save our team 10+ hours per week. You don’t have to be a specialist yet — the most important skill is problem-solving and the ability to figure things out from scratch.
Job Description:
We’re hiring someone who is:
- Smart, resourceful, and curious
- Able to figure things out from scratch — not just follow instructions
- Excited about using AI and automation to reduce friction and save time
- Always looking to improve systems, document processes, and make solutions repeatable
Bonus: Experience with property management operations and AppFolio
Your Outcome for This Role:
Save our team (& founder) 10+ hours/week by implementing AI tools, automations, and system improvements — and make each solution repeatable without the founder.
Responsibilities:
- Audit existing workflows (bookkeeping, reporting, tenant communication, lead generation)
- Research and propose tools or methods to solve inefficiencies
- Implement solutions: dashboards, automations, reporting systems, streamlined processes
- Document improvements in clear, simple SOPs so anyone on the team can run them
- Continuously look for ways to reduce manual work and boost accuracy
- Take ownership: when given a problem or outcome, figure out the best way to achieve it
Requirements:
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong problem-solving ability and initiative
- Willingness and ability to research new tools and methods
- Experience with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Zapier/Make, or similar) is a plus, but not required
- Ability to build dashboards, automate processes, and document SOPs is a plus
- Reliable, high-speed internet and a quiet, focused work environment
20–40 hours/week availability
Pay:
Hourly rate based on experience, with opportunity for performance-based bonuses
